Bookshelf Scavenger Hunt!

I saw this over on The Book Nut, but I have no clue who actually started it though. I guess just answer all these questions and tag people when you are done. Simple as that!

1. Find an author name or title with a Z in it.
The Art of War by Sun Tzu
 2. Find a classic.
War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
3. Find a book with a key on it.
I don’t have any books with keys on them. I literally spent 20 minutes looking at every book. Even the books on my kindle don’t.
4. Find something on your bookshelf that is not a book.
A book light that looks like a book. It’s pretty cool!
5. Find the oldest book on your shelf.
Oldest published: If you want to get technical, probably The Art of War, even though it is translated and published in the early 2000’s.
The book that has been on my shelf the longest: Probably Paper Towns by John Green.
6. Find a book with a girl on it.
A Madness so Discreet by Mindy McGinnis
7. Find a book that has an animal in it.
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater. It has a raven on it.
8. Find a book with a male protagonist.
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
9. Find a book with only words on the cover.
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
10. Find a book with illustrations in it.
Beneath the Sugar Sky by Seanan McGuire
11. Find a book with gold lettering.
The Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor
12. Find a diary, true or fictional.
I want to say I don’t have any.
13. Find a book written by an author with a common name (like Smith).
Red Rising by Pierce Brown.
14. Find a book with a close up of something on it.
V for Vendetta by Alan Moore and David Lloyd.
15. Find a book on your shelf that takes place in the earliest time period.
I’d say The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien.
16. Find a hardcover book without a jacket.
The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
17. Find a teal/turquoise colored book.
Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng (paperback).
18. Find a book with stars on it.
I’m going with stars that you see in the sky, not the shape. It would be Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel
19. Find a non YA book.
Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. There’s honestly so many.
I tag:
If you have already answered these questions then great! If you haven’t you definitely
don’t have to.
If you enjoyed this then give it a like and follow me for future book tags! I had fun with
this one and I hope that you do too if you complete it. Be respectful and happy reading!
