Hello, friends! I have been in a blog rut, as far as what to post. There are a couple book reviews I could post, but I am actually waiting on a friend, since they were buddy reads. I haven’t finished anything since. I found this adorable book tag and decided that I wanted to participate!
Rules:
- Link back to the creator: Kat @ Novels & Waffles (One of the cutest blogs I have ever seen!)
- I did initially find this at Read by Tiffany (another very adorable blog). Go show her some love too.
- You are free to use any of the graphics on the post, just make sure to credit Kat!
- Tag as many people as you want/don’t want to. No pressure!
-All of the graphics I used, even the featured image, are from the creator.-

Animal Farm by George Orwell. I’m not sure what the rules are for deciding whether a book is a classic or not. I think everyone should read this, whether they like it or not. The ending line hit me—hard. Highly recommend!
The Names They Gave Us by Emery Lord. It deals a lot with faith, family, and friendship. It’s hard-hitting, but one of the most wholesome books I have probably ever read. I don’t read YA, but I loved this one for some odd reason.
Watership Down by Richard Adams. I still haven’t read the novel in its entirety, but I remember sitting in my bedroom back home, and reading it out loud to my sister. I donated it 3-4 years ago, and now I want to find it again and read from front to back.
Greta from The Tea Dragon Society by Katie O’neill! If you have not read this graphic novel, please stop what you’re doing right now, and go pick it up. It’s magical and all of the characters are sweet little angels. GO, GO, GO!
And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer by Fredrik Backman. This book tore me to pieces. It involves a grandpa, who is losing his mind, and his grandson. That’s all I’m saying.
Dig by A.S. King! This is one of the weirdest books I have ever read, but it’s so good. It is confusing at first, but it gets easier the further along you read.
The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells. I have stuck with it until the end, but then it was announced that there will be a full length novel. I am going to read it as soon as it comes out—obviously! It’s a wonderful science fiction series if you are into science fiction. If you’re not, then this probably isn’t the series you should start with.
I don’t have a lot of bookish accessories. My favorite is either my Amazon Fire (Kindle), or all of my bookmarks. I love bookmarks so much. My friend bought me this pretty metel blue mermaid bookmark before I moved to Kentucky, and I still haven’t used it because I’m afraid I’ll lose/break it.
