Blogging/Bookish Goals for 2019!

  • Upgrade my WordPress account.

The main reason for this is that I need a change, and it’s hard to do that when you are limited in what you can do with the blog. For example, I can’t upload all the pictures in the world, and I don’t have that many options for themes that I can use. It does cost a pretty penny to upgrade, but I think it will be worth it in the long run.

  • Focus more on the quality of what I am reading rather than the quantity.

I tend to focus more on how many books I read a month or in a year, and I forget the content. There’s nothing worse than talking about a book with someone and failing to remember what you read. It’s frustrating, and I am going to work on it I promise.

  • Write more blog posts/Write more of a variety of blog posts.

I struggle to come up with my own ideas when it comes to blogging. I aspire to be a blogger that does something like start a tag.

  •  Don’t request books unless I’m excited for them!

I have been blogging and actively reading for over a year now, and every once in a while I will request books I don’t care all that much for. This will be a goal for me until I stop that terrible habit.

  • Work on grammar/punctuation when blogging.

I admit that I am not great at writing, but I love to blog. It’s a struggle and always has been since I was in school. I am going to try my hardest to make sure everything is correct to the best of my ability. I apologize to anyone that reads my posts and cringes at the grammar and punctuation.

If you enjoyed this, then give it a like and follow my blog. Be respectful and happy reading!

I have recently joined the book community and I am enjoying it. I will be reviewing books on this blog as well as posting other bookish related posts. Most of the books I read are Young Adult but I'll try to read any genre. Let me know your opinions, but be respectful of others. Don't forget to tell people about this blog if you enjoy it!
