Top (Eight) Tuesday: Books I Disliked/Hated but I am Really Glad I Read

If you don’t know what Top Ten Tuesday is then go check out the blog that hosts it: That Artsy Reader Girl

Books I disliked/hated but I am really glad I read (some are just bragging rights):

Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk

The Sellout by Paul Beatty

Sleeping Beauties by Stephen and Owen King

Orbiting Jupiter by Gary D. Schmidt

Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley

Lord of the Flies by WIlliam Golding

Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston

I honestly could not make it to ten. I haven’t read a lot, and half of these answers were books I read in school. There are definitely some books that I hated and didn’t think it was worth my time. Some of these are indeed bragging rights (*cough* *cough* Sleeping Beauties).

If you enjoyed this then give it a like and follow me for future Top Ten Tuesdays! Be respectful and happy reading.

I have recently joined the book community and I am enjoying it. I will be reviewing books on this blog as well as posting other bookish related posts. Most of the books I read are Young Adult but I'll try to read any genre. Let me know your opinions, but be respectful of others. Don't forget to tell people about this blog if you enjoy it!
