How I Organize My Bookshelves!

I wanted to write a blog post today but I wasn’t sure what I wanted to write about. I figured most people who follow me on Instagram know how I organize my bookshelves, or at least one of them, but not everyone on here does. I have actually changed it recently from height to color. The exception of course is the bookshelf in the top picture. The top picture is basically just a mash-up of books that I can’t fit on my main one. My boyfriend has a few coffee table books from a book sale mixed in there as well because I’m a nice girlfriend. I will organize it better in the future.

Main Bookshelf:

Bottom shelf: I have it going from white to gray, but Ronald the Koala is blocking the gray books. I haven’t figured out where to put him, so my bookshelf became his temporary home. He loves it in case anyone was wondering.

Middle shelf: I also have no idea where to put my bookmarks so I just put them on my bookshelf wherever they’ll fit. If anyone has some creative ideas please let me know.

Top shelf: I have two funko pops on the top shelf: A high elf from Elder Scrolls on the right and Alfredo Linguini from Ratatouille on the left. I’m not in the mindset of collecting funko pops, they are just decoration.

Top of bookshelf: I have a couple of books there just because I thought they looked cute together. They also won’t fit on the shelf. I have some fake flowers for when I take bookstagram photos. I have a light that looks like a book standing next to those, and a book that can hold things (I currently have recipe cards in that one…shh.) I have a wax burner and a little elephant that my friend gave me for my birthday two years ago I believe. Hanging on the sides are just and owl and fox decoration that my boyfriend and I bought for the Fall season.

There isn’t much to explain for the half full bookshelf at the top. It just has books and then a bunch of movies on the bottom half that I didn’t photograph. I know this isn’t a very thought-provoking post, but I enjoyed writing it.
