I can’t believe January is already over! I had a great reading month. I read a few books that could possibly make it to my top books of 2018. Any title that has a link goes to any review I have of it, whether it be on my blog or goodreads. I also added what I did not finish and what I am currently reading.

Oh boooo, you DNF’d Batman? So many people have been “meh” over this one and I have yet to read it but my motivation to pick it up is dwindling FAST right now, haha. Eliza and her Monsters is February’s book of the month in a group I’m part of so I’m thinking of getting myself a copy and joining in but I’m not sure yet. Going to check out some reviews first! 😀

Yeah I was expecting more from Marie Lu because everyone raves about her. I just couldn’t get into it. You may like it though, who knows? I’d at least pick it up and give it a try. Eliza and Her Monsters was okay. I picked it for my Popsugar challenge about mental health and I think maybe that wasn’t the best choice but it was still good overall. Checking reviews would be a good start 😊

I did read Warcross by Marie Lu and absolutely loved her writing in that one. I have the Legend-trilogy waiting for me as well and Batman so I’m hoping Warcross wasn’t a one time-thing, haha. :’)
You can’t always pick the perfect book. The Popsugar Reading Challenge is definitely a good one to branch out though!
